The project
To support its growth, DIDACTIC relocated its operations to a new 12,000 m² warehouse and required assistance in designing the facility and launching operations:
- Project management support for the warehouse layout and equipment implementation.
- Planning and coordination of the relocation process.
- Operational support during the start-up phase.
Our results
- Assisted DIDACTIC in tendering, selecting suppliers, implementing and monitoring contracts, and supervising the various warehouse fit-out projects, including:
- Racking systems.
- Internal signage.
- Wi-Fi infrastructure and IT equipment.
- Access control systems.
- Fire protection systems.
- Material handling equipment.
- Order picking workstations.
- Implemented the additional operational equipment required for day-to-day warehouse activities.
- Prepared the operational documentation required for warehouse operations.
- Organised and managed the relocation according to the selected strategy to ensure business continuity and a successful start-up at the new site.
- Conducted operational testing on selected flows prior to go-live and trained key users.
- Provided hands-on operational support before, during, and after the warehouse start-up phase.
