The project
NatUp required highly operational and reassuring support, focused both on defining “how to do it” and on hands-on implementation. The assignment covered several areas of the company:
- Redesign of the logistics master plan to optimise the distribution network for agricultural supplies to farmers, using the Transept Solver tool.
- Design and definition of the warehouse’s functional areas and processes.
- Selection and deployment of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Human resources organisation, internal recruitment support, and training.
- Preparation and start-up of the new upper-tier Seveso-classified platform.
- Project management.
Our results
- Reconfiguration of the distribution network and depot locations, optimising costs while improving operating and supply conditions.
- Design of the logistics operations for the central distribution warehouse, including process definition and human and equipment sizing.
- Tendering, deployment, and start-up of Hardis Group’s Reflex WMS.
- Operational support for teams during the activity start-up phase, including training, hands-on assistance, and management support.
- Successful start-up of operations at the new platform.
